MK Sound Appoints The Dolphin Group as US Distributor Mike Abt President of The Dolphin Group

As part of an ongoing restructuring and expansion, loudspeaker manufacturer MK Sound today announced the appointment of Illinois-based The Dolphin Group to serve as exclusive distributor for MK Sound consumer products in the US.  The announcement coincides with the global re-launch of MK Sound’s core product range.

Family owned and operated since 1936, The Dolphin Group was recently inducted into the Consumer Electronics Association Hall of Fame which “honors leaders whose significant contributions make the consumer electronics industry a vibrant, dynamic, and vital part of our nation and its economy.”

The Dolphin Group occupies 44 acres in Glenview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, and employs 1,200 staff members. The company operates 70 delivery trucks, 38 custom installation vans and 46 service vans, and is run by second- and third-generation family members.

With MK Sound’s business offices now based in Denmark, The Dolphin Group is positioned to play a major role in the revitalization of the MK Sound brand in the US market.
